This month's feature is Galloping Goose Coffee Roasters located in Victoria, BC. Named after the Galloping Goose Regional Trail, a 55 km trail between Victoria and Leechtown on Vancouver Island. In the coffee lands, migratory birds (like geese) are vital to a healthy ecosystem. 

Galloping Goose buys coffee from smallholder farmers through their long-term trusted trade relationships, paying the best price for the coffee. Here in British Columbia, they are meticulous about roasting. They craft-roast their coffee beans and package them in airtight, fully recyclable aluminum cans, locking in flavour to preserve peak freshness until you're ready to open it. This ensures sustainability for farmers and traders and less waste in the landfill as well a great cup of coffee for you. 

This month you'll be trying their Steadfast blend - a sweet and creamy coffee. They marry two mountain coffees from two different continents to create this delicious coffee. Beans come from DR Congo and Rwanda. Enjoy tasting notes of Chocolate, Black Cherry, Red Plum.
